MiniSevens Hurling and Camogie Finals Fixture and Preview
The Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Rackard League MiniSevens season comes to an end on Monday week with the Hurling and Camogie finals being played out in St. Patrick’s Park, Enniscorthy.
Horeswood play Oulart in the Camogie final, five days after they contest the football final. This could complete a memorable week for the Horeswood girls all going to plan. Oulart will have a lot to say about that though and with such great camogie pedigree this will prove to be an interesting final.
In the Hurling final, Ballymurn take on the Horeswood boys in what could complete a remarkable three out of four title sweep for Horeswood. Ballymurn have ambitious goals of their own however and plan to take the boys’ football title as well as this one in an identical situation to the Horeswood girls.
All four schools in this year’ Hurling and Camogie finals are a testament to the hugely successful Hurling 365 programme and highlight the rewards of not just hard work on the training field but also overall enjoyment of the game. Regardless of who takes home the cups on Monday, all schools involved will have enjoyed a successful year.
